Pure Linen is such an amazing fabric and feel. It is very absorbent and strong. The White Linen Collection has been designed and made locally using a premium Linen by Country Grace Australia. There are several designs in the collection to choose from.
Material: Pure Premium Linen Measurements : 62 × 56 cm
Important Instructions: To preserve the design on your Kitchen Towel. Please make sure you iron it on the reverse side only.
Washing Instructions: Warm wash only. Do not apply bleach to the design. Iron on the reverse side only. Use clean water in a spray bottle and lightly spray the reverse side of your towel before ironing. This will help to make it stay crisp and easy to use.
1. Washing Guidelines
Separate Loads: Do not wash DTF items with rough, heavy fabrics like denim or towels with heavy texture, as they can cause abrasion. This will protect the design and save it from rubbing against other items or the machine drum.
Cold Water Only: Wash in cold or cool water (maximum 30°C/86°F). Hot water can soften the design, causing it to peel or distort.
Gentle Cycle & Mild Detergent: Use a delicate/gentle cycle to minimize agitation. Use a mild detergent and avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, or stain removers.
Avoid Fabric Softeners: Do not use fabric softeners, as they can weaken the adhesion of the transfer.
2. Drying Techniques (Crucial to Prevent Melting)
Air Dry (Best Option): The safest method is to lay the towel flat to dry or hang it in a shaded, well-ventilated area.
Low Heat Only: If you must use a tumble dryer, select the lowest heat setting (often labeled "air fluff" or "delicate").
Prompt Removal: Remove the towel immediately after the dryer finishes to prevent the design from getting too hot.
3. Ironing and Heat Exposure
No Direct Heat: Never place a hot iron directly onto the DTF print. Direct heat will melt or damage the film.
Use a Barrier: Turn the towel inside out or place a pressing cloth (like a thin cotton tea towel or parchment paper) between the iron and the printed area.
Low Temperature: Set your iron to the lowest setting (silk/delicate).
By adhering to these steps—specifically cold washing and low-heat drying—your DTF print can last for 40–60 washes.
